How long were the laps?
It's great how everything about the guy - his trainers, his high socks, his struggling gait, his hairy legs - is the complete opposite of Ritzenhein, except for the sunglasses. They are wearing the exact same sunglasses.
The laps are 2k, I'd imagine more than one person got lapped.
The guy also looks about twice Ritz's age.

By "exact same" do you mean each pair of sunglasses share fundamental elements of a sunglass - such as darkened lenses and arms that extend over the wearer's ears to keep them in place?

I thought only non-Cali guys wore sunglasses in California to look the part. But I see Hall with them on.
its a lidocaine patch for his IT band. It numbed his leg so he wouldnt have to deal with the discomfort of the injury.
My only concern is that he did more damage without even knowing it. IT band problems usually isnt something you can run through, and needs time off. Hopefully he takes a week off now and gets better
And as for the sunglasses, they are the new Nike Impel sunglasses, similar to the nike odeon which he previously wore.

Resting an IT band will, more than likely, do nothing. Massage and the continuing of blood flow (through running) is a more productive measure in treating the injury. Most runners with an IT band injury that take off for a few weeks will return with the same injury.

Wow are you serious? Resting an IT band injury will allow the band to not become inflammed by preventing the band from rubbing on the lateral epicondyle. Yes massaging and stretching and increasing the bloodflow help, but if you have ever tried to run through IT band syndrome, or if you had even a clue to what it was, you would know that running on it is doing more harm than good. I hope this was sarcasm and not just pure ignorance.
They may return with the same injury but its because they either came back too soon, and didnt let it heal or came back and stepped right in where they left off.
Believe im going through this right now, i havent been running for 2 weeks, and can now finally walk up and down stairs without pain, running only irritates the tendon and causes more inflammation....
Crap, that old dude reminds me of myself these days - but I would have worn spikes to better look the part, even though at this age they hurt my achilles.
