Has anyone recently bumped up from the 2120's to the 2130's? i was wondering what the difference between the 2 was. Did anyone have any problems?

almost no difference. virtually the exact same shoe with some lighter material here and there. you shouldn't have any trouble
wrong answer...
between the 2110 and the 2120 asics changed the midsole compound from Speva to Solyte. They found that Solyte was much lighter than Speva, but also much harder. People were finding this a little hard, even though it was considerably lighter. Asics then changed the makeup of Solyte, and made it a little heavier, but a little more soft. Kind of an average between the 2110 and 2120. As far as the fit goes, it is relatively the same.
all I hear about on running boards when someone brings up asics is Solyte sucks.
I run in asics all the time and I really question this notion. I really haven't noticed any difference. Is it just nit-picking or is it real?
to the wrong answer guy: he asked about the 2120 vs. 2130 not 2110 v 2120.
in the womens 2130, the heel cup is smaller and tighter to fit more of a womens type foot, but i dunno h ow the mens is
I think the the new shoe has a little higher lift in the heal. I have sensitive toes and I've noticed a few more warm spots/blisters occur with the newer version. I surmise it coming from more pressure in the front of my foot due to the higher lift.
i noticed a big difference between the 2 models. im no shoe expert so i dont really know the terms, but the front part of the shoe is curved upward alot more on the 2130's. they look pretty much the same, but i noticed a big difference when i ran in the 2130s
one thing i have noticed is that the 2120's lasted me longer than the 2130's. 1230's seem to break down quicker... anyone else notice this?
I got 2130s about a week ago and it might just be because i am still breaking them in but to me the 2130s seem a lot harder than i remember my 2120s being when i first bought them.
I agree wtih you and I'm not still breaking mine in. I can't pinpoint what it is, but I do not like the 2130' as much as the 2120's. It's so noticeable that as I run I start thinking about other shoes I liked that I might switch back to.
I have worn mostly ASICS for a long time and I hate to switch.
Just bumped up and really haven't noticed much of a difference at all
They harder I think I'm going to try Brooks Adrenaline next time.
