Never Order From 1-800-Flowers

I've been burned by similar things... but it wasn't Valentine's day, it was my girlfriend's birthday. Apparently delivery guys in Switzerland are really fvcking lazy.

Same thing happened to me last year, ordered them from 1-800-flowers......no delivery. My wife was pissed.

A whimpy 'We're sorry' and a mailed discount coupon on top of the refund. However, that is minimal to the fact that it was thought I had forgotten.

These guys are no good!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THAT COMPANY!!!

I better get a refund, as of right now my card has been charged.

Fire a chargeback with your credit card company, don't even let them try to dick you around with the refund process.

Mine showed up at her work at 5pm...i had been getting worried too and was kinda pissed and will ask for a refund. Half of what the girls look forward to is receiving the flowers in front of everyone. And the fact that she almost missed it by less then a minute is not acceptable.

You should def demand a refund and even more for your hardship.

i see your point, but i also see the OP's point as well. this kind of shit makes me mad too. this big company could have gotten his order right, but somewhere along the line they either got lazy or simply felt his order didn't matter to them. what a blazing f***-you to their customer, I agree it is unacceptable.

my company had a "corporate account" with 1800flowers and they were a nightmare. we ended up switching to a different company because they f***ed up so many of the orders we sent to clients.

1800flowers is just a shitty company all around. I feel for this guy.

they bite. the one time i used that shit--which should only be for long distance gifts, lazy asses, the flowers got to the moms four days after mother's day. never again.

If you can somehow pull it off, go get her another gift RIGHT NOW and worry about getting straightened out with 800flowers later. Sounds like a pricey hooker on Craigslist.

THE EXACT SAME THING happened to me today with 1800flowrs.

I am so mad, I have been talking about it with my wife all night. She thinks I am lying about ordering them on time.

Someone at my work got proflowers today around 1 which is reasonable, so they seem like a decent company. Of course one time means nothing

you know, If I ran a company like 1-800-flowers I would be smart enought to at least hire 1000 mexicans during valentines day, for the sole purpose of delivering flowers.

I mean, they spend all year standing next to the freaking freeway, so they should be experts right? Pay them part time wages for one day, whats so hard about that. There really isn't any excuse.

damn, y'all must have some high maintenance women. I'm old and jaded, but I buy my own in advance and don't make a big deal of it. I do have fond memories of the Lane CC hall of famer who actually delivered on the fateful day so many years ago!
