How long is the typical lifespan of an altitude tent? I've heard figures ranging from 2,000 hours to 20,000 hours, but I want additional feedback from tent users to get a better sense of the average lifespan of a tent.
On another note, how much power do those tents consume? 200 watts? 400? 500?
I've put 5000hrs on mine (from 2005) and I've never had a single problem. Runs like new. I haven't noticed any decrease in its performance either. It still produces oxygen reduced air at the same rate and % as it did when it was first bought. I've heard of people getting 15000 hrs and up on theirs before showing decreases in performance or any signs of breakdown.
