I'm thinking of going to there later on this winter, are there any decent indoor tracks in St. Andrew's (Kingdom of Fyfe)?

you must be having a laugh. There's only a handful of indoor tracks in all of the UK
Nearest indoor oval is Kelvin Hall in Glasgow(http://runtrackdir.com/details.asp?track=glasgow-indoor)
That's about 60 miles away -
Arrow points to track, you'll be near St Andrews in top right.
Temperature in Fife tomorrow will be 48F - so no need to panic if you're a distance runner.
No, but the university does have a 400m outdoor track. Since indoor competition is very limited in the UK anyway (at least for anything over 800m); and the weather, although often unpleasant, is never bad enough not to run outdoors, you won't need an indoor track anyway.
This is about all the sports facilities:
If you're a distance runner...there's no better place in the world for golf course running. I think there's a half dozen now, all in one big area, all public land. Few golfers in the winter.
Oh, but there's biting cold winds all the time - character building.
