Is the term \"Indoor Track\" describing a season or a location? I am looking for input primarily from experienced coaches and/or officials concerning the following situation:
High School team A had an individual pole vault 15\'7\" at the 1979 outdoor state championship. However, due to cold and torrential rain, the vault was moved indoor. Does this mark qualify as an \'Indoor\' record for this school? If you consider indoor a season, it does not, but if you consider it a venue, it does. If you consider it a place, theoretically, you could place a tent over an outdoor track in August and call it an indoor meet. Ohio\'s High School Association does not officially recognize indoor track, so they can not be of help. Coaches, officials?
