I got one of these in my race bag last weekend, and was surprised at how good it tasted. I have been using gu/powergel, and don't like the taste.
Has anyone tried these new Carbboom gels - do they work as well for you ?

I agree that they are tasty, but you are better off eating real food than gel. Gel is a good stop gap, but real food is much better for you

There sure is something to say about how overly sweet the Carbboom gels hit my taste buds...I could never get used to that.
I'll take something a little blander thank you.
Powergels and Gu have treated me just fine and dandy.
I started using carbboom this past spring while training for a marathon and really really like them- my favorite is the apple cinnamon flavor.
Snicker bars and Ben&Jerrys ice cream thank you.
