Gee, I have just read a number of posts and my observations don't support the idea of any significant correlation between intellignece and the ability to use a computer to post on this board. So your premise about needing to be "smart" to use this board is likely unfounded.

Well said! I think that it's safe to say that that the vast majority of us who are over 45-years-old are rather comfortable with both our age and our level of computer literacy. ;-)

I actually agree with the OP, and I'm over 45. But maybe it's just that we all flock to the threads on which we have something to say and which we won't hope won't degenerate too quickly.

But maybe we're the same guys making all the juvenile, wise-ass comments on the other threads, too.

We are the old-school die hards. We were around in the 70's when our running was like Once a Runner. This site is a natural.

For all you young people out there: I am very happy that there are people under 30 who seem to be just as hard core.

If we could get rid of the Pre-bashers and all the other haters withthe negative comments and accusations of drugs this would be the perfect place!

Would the plethora of red blood cells caused by plerhora be a boon to runners who have it?

I'm 47, was selling computer systems as DOS gave way to Windows and "open systems" were in their infancy. TCP/IP was just one of several protocols available and the internet was still a Department of Defense network.

In short, I've forgotten more about computers than any punk under the age of 35 will ever understand.
