Does anyone out there have any experience with drills/core exercises that can help a runner correct a forward lean while running? Thanks in advance.

Thanks, sarcastic asshole. Anyone else?
Think about keeping your hips forward. You really won't be pushing them in front of you, but it will tend to straighten your posture more.
Are you a sprinter accelerating from a crouched start? If not, it's probably due to hip alignment. The hips should remain neutral (aligned with the spine and under the shoulders). If the back is bent forward at the hips, then it could be due to poor core strength or lack of flexibility in the low back, glutes or hamstrings . Usually this is noticeable in walking as well.
Regardless, practicing an upright posture should be first priority. Secondly, developing core stability incorporating abs, low back, hip flexors, quads, glutes, and hams in synergistic movements can be beneficial. Stretching / flexibility exercises should be incorporated to assist. If no improvement is made, you may have issues regarding alignment of the spine and hips which would necessitate a medical examination.
