2 master's degrees at the same time?

I'm thinking of doing the exact same thing and i have the same question.

Why would University X care? Are you being paid by UX? If that's the case you should at least talk about it with your advisor. If your not being paid by UX then I don't know why they would care.

Some years (decades?) back, IIRC, there was a guy who got undergrad degrees from MIT and Harvard simultaneously. (Don't remember the details exactly, including the two schools involved.) At least one of those schools did have a policy against "outside" education, and (I believe) voided his degree.

However, if UX doesn't have a policy against it, you should be fine. Good luck. Try to schedule some sleep every week or so.

An online "degree" is like something you send away for on the inside of a matchbook. No one worth knowing looks at your "degree" without evaluating its source.

Actually this is nothing new. Somebody with a BA from (say) Dartmouth has always outranked someone with an MA from (say) University of Michigan, who in turn has always outranked someone with a PhD from (say) East Lansing Agricultural and Teacher's College.

Of course, if this is a vocational or technical "degree" you're talking about--Advanced Certification in Cold Fusion, e.g.--then forget everything I just said.
