I'm curious to know if anyone suffers from this. My right hip pops deep within the socket joint where my femur attaches to my pelvis or hip or whatever. that socket joint right there. Anyways it doesn't pop when I run, however when I do things like bicycles with my legs while laying on my back, or leg lifts, or if I rotate my right leg out and in again in a circular motion, it pops. All while on my back. Sometimes while I am sitting down and I change positions it will pop, and also when I first get up from sitting it will pop from time to time. I'm not really sure what to think of it, and haven't received much of a response from various doctors/PT's about it. I don't experience this on my left side at all. I have had a lot of hip injuries in my right hip over the last year that I am still trying to get over, and I'm wondering if the popping has anything to do with it. Just for some info, I've been diagnosed with IT band syndrome, bursitis, tendonitis, possible leg length discrepency, weakness in both hips, and possibly something to do with the piriformis muscle. Yeah it sure would be nice to know which it was lol. Anyways sorry this is getting lengthy, but if anyone knows anything about popping hips, or suffers from it themselves yet is still able to run, I'd appreciate any replies.
Thank you,
Jason
