Anyone ever fight one of these tickets? Just moved to the city and then went away on vacation. Came back to find my car towed after apparently violating a non-posted ordinance of staying parked in one spot for 72+ hours. Thanks.

I can't help but laugh. What would motivate you to live in San Francisco? What did you expect? You should have known what you were getting into. Now I just sound like your mother.
Shame on you for owning a car in San Fran.
there is that better?
It will probably cost you less to get it out of impound than it would be to rent a space for the time you were gone.

It's in San Francisco. I thought I was fairly clear on this matter. Peeps- thanks for your input. As always, your dumb ass makes me laugh. Save me a kahlua and root beer, chief.

Righto, chap. who's your money on LSU or Oh-Bye-Oh?
dont these metermaids have anything better to do than come back and check if youve been parked for over 72 hours?
i just got a ticket for parking perpendicular to the sidewalk, in my own driveway, leaving plenty of room for pedestrians. $100 mutha@#Q^!#@*^! dollars!! i live on a steep hill, so no wheelchairs, elderly, or disabled people would have been inconvenienced anyway.
I live in a small midwestern town. We could park our car in the middle of the street and not get a ticket.
i've lived many, many places...sf is one of the best (and prettiest) places to live in the entire worldi can tell you this, unlike ny or boston you will never wake up to 7F (as this morning)and peeps if anyone should appreciate that it should be you, fuel required for heating is virtually none as compared to east coast and NO air conditioning required
I love peeps wrote:
