I like the 3.0 better because the heel on the 5.0 is way to high. The 3.0's upper also holds my foot in place better.
Never tried the 3.0,the 5.0 were useless for wear,the 7.0 are much better,heavier but relatively lightweight and much superior in wear.really give the feet and ankles a good workout,but none of them are really a racing shoe,in my humble opinion.
Ok so this is how the frees work to my understanding. As you move down 7.0-5.0-3.0 you move more towards barefoot running. Your supposed to start with the 7.0 and as your body gets used to training in the frees and gets stronger you move down to the next one.

wow, i got over 1,000 miles on each of 4 pair or free 5.0s. they really cant wear out from what i found, eventually i just got sick of the dirt and grime.
