I am a runner with a 4:06 1500m PR. I am confident I am in good enough shape to run sub 4 this indoor season.
My question is this:
I have 26 flat 200m speed right now, and I can run 64 sec. 400's without hitting lactic acid. In XC I ran 28:09 for 8k as my fastest time. I know I have the speed to run sub 4, but do I have the strength? What would be a good indicator of being in sub 4 shape?
