The mayfly is incredibly squishy. I don't know how anyone can feel fast in a shoe that feels like a pillow. The Pirhana is good, but why discount the Adizero RC or PR, the Mizuno Ronin, or the New Balance 152?
Mizuno Ronin? What about the Mizuno Universe?
BTW, piranhas would eat mayflies.
The Universe is pretty much unavailable already due to the limited supply (only 1500 made for the US). The Ronin is their new 6.4 ounce flat the debuts 1/5/08.
