I heard Liberty's Josh McDougal hit 4:16 at 16000, 8:01 at 3K, 8:35 at 3200M and 13:46 at 5K. His future teammate ran 13:53 fofr 2nd. I was also told William & Mary had people in there but he nearly lapped them. Most of them dropped out before getting lapped. Even Nike's Ed Moran couldn't take the heat and DNF'd. I have not seen results. Anyone have them?
McDaddy runs 1346

Moran ran was pacing the WM guys. Josh was getting an auto for Nats. -
a good story.
-
5.45 last 2km he looks like he was dying hard near the end.
Maybe if he had gone out in 8.10 he might of got under 13.40. Great running anyway. A few more weeks of specific training and he could be knocking on the door of 13.30.
Whats the NCAA indoor record? -
here's to hoping that McD was just capitalizing on XC fitness to get a qualifier and now he's going to take some time easy/off...
-
sure he will. he just wanted to get the auto mark so he can kick back during indoors. he knows he is going to have a very long outdoor season with the trials at the end.

Sammy Chelanga ran unattached. Any word on wether or not he will be with the team next semester, or is FDU still not letting him out of the deal?
-
Moran paced the first 5K heat and paced the first couple of miles of the fast heat. He was obviously not there to finish either race.
-
yeah he was. he did the same thing last year at the same meet where he ran 13:52. now he take winter break off to praise you know who and then hop back to it.
this spring&summer, i predict mcdougal will go
7:48
13:13
27:45 -
Smart move. One less race he has to do in the winter. Now he can focus more on training, outdoors, and making the Games.
