Yeah, I'm dumb for not going to the doctor after two weeks of coughing up crap, I know. I've now been coughing up phlegm for about a month, and I haven't had much of an appetite for a while either. Are the two corrolated? I've been losing weight but feeling kinda crappy too because of it. Anyone have any ideas what's going on?
See a doc asap. Make an appt. It's not an emergency but I would see a doc this week. You could have walking pneumonia, edema/too-much-water. You might drop dead at the 5 mile mark if you don't stop doping or whatever is causing the symptoms you describe.
walking pneumonia - go to the doctor - been there, done that.
i got to the point where i went out for a run, ran about 1/2 mile, walked back, went home and took a 3 hour nap - completely exhausted. the next day i went to the doctor, where he did an x-ray and discovered my lung full of snot and buggers. he said that in another few days i would have been in the hospital. it took a long while to recover fully - after a week of shots in my bony butt, anti-biotics and something which made me cough out green slime for a couple of weeks.
