Help tell us which of these runners isn't an American citizen (31 All americans?)

Theyr'e all american citizens.

They might have made a mistake on either Lomong (formerly from Sudan) or Manzano (formerly from Mexico)

All-America team equals top-30 finishers as well as the top-30 US citizens.

It has nothing to do with 'anti-americanism.'

The coaches recognize the top 30 period and then the top 30 american citizens. With so many naturalized americans, it makes it hard to figure out if they got it right or not.

We're trying to figure it out. It looks like a mistake may have been made.

i know kinsella is or wants to have dual citizenship in ireland but i don't think that would affect his status as an american for these purposes.

The list actually missing MO. K from Iona too. He's an American citizen and a New Jersey boy at that.

Do All Americans get a certificate or anything like that to aknowledge they met All American status?

altho it's confusing, the correct answer is that the coaches association recognizes the top 30 overall and the top 30 AMERICAN-BORN competitors (not american citizens as previously stated). the only exception is if an athlete was born to american citizens who were out of the country (e.g. military families). it has nothing to do with citizenship.
