Sean connolly has been the most prolific gypsey/traveller runner of the last 10 years, he holds pretty much every gypsy track record from 100yards up to the half marathon (i believe the half marathon was his speciality 61:23) His career was cut short however due to the fact his caravan (trailer) had a serious lack of heating and this promoted the onset of chestyness. I hope he is doing ok now, the last i heard he was working at taring driveways in his native connemara.
How about Shane Healy?
The lack of heating in his trailer caused "Chestyness"? That's the same thing that happened to Britney and Pamela.
I heard Gypsy Dave from the band 'Gypsy Dave and The Stumpjumpers'has been known to put in the miles while travelling on tour.
