Does anyone have any experience with the New Balance RC152 and/or RC1001? How do they fit? Do they fit snug or more similar to NB trainers? Thnx

I have the 152s. They fit pretty snug, but a little wider in the forefoot than some other ultra-light flats. They're really good shoes all around, actually.
I've tried most of them, but aside from the 205, they don't accommodate my "high volume" foot; I wish they did, cause they seem to be a well made line of flats.
Speaking of which, first time out of the box yesterday for the adizero pro - great flat for my foot. Light, good width, snug heel, quiet ride, and $85.
152 is great (though not as good as the NB950). You must strike from mid to forefoot or it will be painful and unstable. It's also not especially durable, with the exposed eva on part of the outsole.
The upper is comfortable, but not as nice as some others out there (Wave Universe, Adizero PR).
You can't beat the price.
I have the 1001s. I really like them. They fit pretty well considering I have a narrow foot and have a nice roomy toebox without being sloppy. They definitely feel snugger than the NB trainers I've worn and are quite responsive.
I juts ordered the RC 600's for a try at something new for training in everyday. I've run in the 900, 901, and 902's, but I'm in the mood for something else. Anybody ever try the 600's?
You're gonna need some orthotics and then you can hobble around like a 80 year old man in a walker really fast.
Just ask Khalid
I like the 1001's. Very comfortable, narrow fit which suits my foot. Great 1/2 marathon shoe IMO
I just got the RC152. Spacious toe box, extremely comfortable and well ventilated upper (don't need socks). My beef is with the thick, stiff sole. I tore out the insole and that helped a little. Size 11 without the insole weighs about 5.5 oz. If you're not a heel striker the RC152 should work for just about any distance. I've trained in NB flats for years and will so in these too.
