What does this mean? Are lower bib numbers faster runners, do blue corral people have any advantage over the rest,what about the sub elites, what time do I realistically have to get up and start traveling to the start, I am staying near central park south
lower bib numbers are for faster runners. if you are under 1000 than you should be fine for the start. i was accepted into the sub-elite corral - but than i figured out that it would be more trouble to make my way to the sub-elite bus than it would to take the "regular-joe" bus from where i'm staying near the meadowlands - and it sounds like the first blue corral isn't too crowded.

1-999. Next runners, 1000-1999, are in green. Then 2000-2999 in blue, etc. Remember, lots of 1-999 are not in the coral; they're in sub-elite or local competitive. (Plus the celebs get 3-digit numbers.)
Well i think there are a fair few starters on blue corral but you do get a decent start. I've always gone out of blue so i
couldn't say what happens elsewhere. Think you're the last to get called out of Fort Wadsworth as well but don't count on getting into line 5 minutes before the call out all the same.
From what i remember you have to start lining up at about 9am,
to get taken out onto the bridge at about what 9.50 ish?
NB they get pretty pissed if you chuck your throw away clothes into the trees, trouble is more they tell you NOT to do it, more everybody does it.
