That guy received a lot of angry posts and that's too bad. One of the reasons that nobody wathced running is that it's run by a bureaucracy and not as a business like NASCAR, NFL, NBA, and NHL. As much as everyone wants him to be wrong, he's right, we can't stop porgress, and the prohibion on drugs has been a failure(outside of sports too). I will quote him "bring on the pharmacologically enhanced and genetically enhanced future." We should let people do whatever they want with their bodies, and let business interests come first, not arguable ideological ones. Did you know that while the USA is 7 times the sports market of the rest of the world combined in dollar value, there in only one American on the IAAF council? That no American has ever been IAAF president. It's a sport run in the heavy handed,European tradition. We should have a privately run series here that has a more "libertarian" view on enhancers as the geneticist guy says. I thought he was really cool. I looked him up on the web, and he graduated top of his class from Penn and John's Hopkins. HE was really nice when I called him. I'm convinced that we should do "whatever has the greatest efficacy for the result we want." That was a good quote for him.
Open your minds I say
