as someone who will be there, this is at least the race that i want to see. obviously it would be one of the best marathon finishes in history. at 23 miles hall and abdi drop the hammer. sell decides to wait with the pack. meb goes but runs out of gas and loses his spot and repeat medal. sell goes with a mile out and his strength carries him. everyone tries to go with him, but he takes the kick out of culp and ritz. a random non sub 2:15 guy will sneak into the top ten, a la trent briney. we all go home happy. wouldn't it be nice!
