Northwest, Nunavut (been to Yukon, but didn't run, dammit!)

I've run in every state and commonwealth plus the District of Columbia in the US EXCEPT for Hawaii, Alaska, and Rhode Island. I've been to Rhode Island - just didn't run while there. I've never been to Hawaii and Alaska.

I've also run in Canada and The Bahamas.

what race in croatia?

Not a race - I ran there for several months while stationed with UN forces over the winter of 92/93. Mostly around Daruvar, but also at Rijeka while on two day passes and while picking up construction material at the port there.

Made it into a couple of places in Bosnia at the same time, but wouldn't have even considered running - we were used for sniper target practice in armoured vehicles, so I wouldn't have liked my chances in the open.

Now that's friggin' lunacy.

I flew into Sarajevo well after the main fighting was over (in an old Russian Antonov, and I swear the aircrew had a vodka breakfast that day). Even so, as we taxi'd toward the terminal, there were mortar rounds being lobbed across the other end of the airfield. We jumped straight into a Russian BRDM personnel carrier (Ukrainian crew, also maybe stoked to the gills) and buggered off quick to the HQ in the hills somewhere outside of the city. We had the hatch open to catch the view, but closed it quick and jumped to the floor when a couple of sniper rounds whizzed overhead. Snipers were probably just trying to get us to piss our pants. I can picture them snickering in their perch somewhere above us.

Now training in the streets of Sarajevo would be sheer insanity. Snipers must have been amused, and let him keep going by so they'd have some form of entertainment.
