Just hypothetically---if I were a good but not great runner and I took EPO and did a Geb & took 30+ seconds off my 5000 time and maybe 10-20 off my 1600/3200 what are my chances of getting caught? Pretty much zero, right? And if they do test, I just discontinue a week before the big meet or meets. Correct?
That would be a hell of a lot of money to pay for 20 seconds when that 20 seconds won't make you any money.
Maybe I get it now: half this board thinks that everyone is taking drugs because they have no qualms with being a drug cheat themselves.

Do you know a lot about EPO? Just curious if you knew how much to take, and how often, so that you can get the scholarship you won't be able to hold onto in college, vs. how much will give you a blood clot and kill you.
In Texas, you'll get the chair. They test now, for everything. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzap. The Cowtown Marathon races have drug tests now, why not HS.

No it's very easy. Just do a search online. If you know people who use they can help you find a reliable source as well.

And one beer will kill you, right? I plan to keep my hematocrit under 55. It's normally about 43.
Epo usually is undetectable after about 6 hours. Which means dont take it day of your race. however i can think of many health reasons not to take it........ blood clots, stroke, ware on your heart/blood vessels. exc

If he keeps his hematocrit under 55, the risk of that occuring is probably not statistically greater than if he took no EPO whatsoever. In fact, provided he uses clean needles and injects under clean skin, it's simply not "risky" in the conventional physical sense, when compared to driving a car, swimming, etc.
Obviously, there are other arguments one can use to oppose doping, at least in HS athletes, where far fewer athletes dope than at the Olympic/Tour De France, etc. level.

They can get specific enough to determine which IP address you're using, and find out which ISP owns that block of addresses. That's actually very simple.
From there, the ISP should be able to provide records of what home was leased that IP address at the time of the posting. Now, making the ISP give up the information is a whole other matter. I have no idea about what authorities one would contact (DEA comes to mind), and I imagine it might take a court order for the ISP to hand over those records, but they most definitely can get that specific.
Now that's all assuming the brojos could get his actual IP and he's not using some anonymizer service. If he is, court orders might still get what they need, but who knows. Unless you're making use of some proxy servers outside the US, I wouldn't count on any anonymity online. Come to think of it, I wouldn't bank on it even then.
