I don't trust anything I hear from a guy who pronounces words the way Paul Harvey does. Pretty sure he'll get no flak from it. Old guys in barber shops listen to him, and next to no one will know that that Mexican guy didn't really cross the finish line first. Harvey's is an entertainment section really and not news. I don't hope he dies or anything like that, but I can't wait for the day I no longer have to hear his voice on the radio. I know I can turn to another station, and I do, but even one second of his voice is too long.

I enjoy Paul Harvey. Of course he's not telling hard news and he isn't always perfect on the facts. So? He's as American as apple pie and he's making eight figures doing it. I listen to him whenver I get the chance to because he's fun to listen to.
In a certain sense, he's right: the guy won the race of men in his age group. It's a similar principle to considering the women's race separate from the men's. I'm sure that's not what he meant, though...

He was so out of place finishing in the 2:40s that that's how he got caught. What was a middle-aged guy in pants and a jacket doing crossing the finish line in the 2:40s.

Does anybody else find it strange that they needed some guy to divine from a the clothes Madrazo was wearing in a picture to discover that a guy who covered 15k in 21 minutes had cheated? Maybe somebody should write a 50-line program that passes all the intermediate splits through it and finds suspiciously fast outliers. Heck, if there's any money in it, maybe I should do it myself.....
