Have you all forgotten who BOOED the best player in the world (did you watch the olympic play-in tournament) because he was in a free throw shooting slump during some meaningless middle of the season basketball game? That same player put all of Cleveland on his back and single handidly took them to the NBA championships.
Those same classless fans where yelling stuff at Roberto Alomar that no one under 14 should have been subjected to. Those same hypocrites where cheering him like a son when he was helping the Indians try to win a world series a couple years later.
I have been an Indians fan since the early 70's and currently have season tickets to the Cavs. Lebron can cheer for any team he wants. I will be cheering for my Indians to rock the Yankees today, and I will be at every basketball game cheering for Lebron to lead us to a championship this year.
If you idiot Cleveland fans can't handle Lebron wearing a Yankees cap, then you can crawl back in the hole you came out of.

Regarding miswired or just plain illiterate, I answer NEITHER to that. Sagarin's assertion is that Lebron needs to cheer for the Indians because he is Lebron. BS. So, he needs to change his allegiance anytime he is ever traded in the future? Crazy. Other than the fact he should always cheer for the TEAM he is ON, there's no problem whatsoever with him cheering for another team other than the one that is in his hometown. You'd probably never see a mayor of a city doing that, but they are after votes, and Lebron ain't no mayor. Besides, when I see someone like the current Ohio State Athletic Director who came here from Arizona be suddenly the world's biggest OSU fan, I know it's all bogus. He can't be that because he works for the university. If Lebron put on an Indians' hat, it would just be bogus. It would be like him telling you all that his name is "Dave". I vote for illiterate. Please tell me where on earth did I ever say that LeBron NEEDS to root for the Indians? Where, where, where? Where did I ever say he needs to put on an Indians hat?
