Hi all,
I ordered some 2120s online and they seem to fit about a half-size larger than my 2100s. Did ASICS change their sizing system or did my feet change size?

I've had the Asics GT series since the 2060s and have worn size 11 the entire time until 2120s, where I moved to 10 1/2.
Hey thanks. Do you think the same would apply to the new DS Trainers? If I had an 11 in both the 2100s and the older versions of the DS Trainers, would I have to move to 10.5 in the 2120s and the new DS Trainers, or could I stay at 11 with the DS Trainers?

I noticed exactly the same thing. My 2100s are 11.5 and my 2120s are 12.0 and they fit about the same.
I too had to buy them a 1/2 size smaller. Of course it was my second pair. I was to stupid to try the first pair on as I have had over 20 pair of 2100's and 2110's.
Asics must have changed their sizes because I got some 2120's and they were significantly bigger than previous 2100's as well as same size in Kayanos. So something is fishy with their sizing, and it's not the smell of my feet.
ASICS changed the angle of the heel counter slightly, so your foot might fit a little farther back into the shoe, effectively making the toe box more roomy and perhaps up to 1/2 size bigger. I don't think that was done on all models, so you'll have to test them individually. I feel like my 1120s are a bit roomier than the 1110s, but not sure if it's a complete 1/2 size.
I agree, the 2120's feel bigger than previous models.
I wear a 9.5 uk size for the 2120's but I needed a 10 uk size for the DS trainer if thats any help. The DS trainer definitely comes up smaller.

Actually it is just the opposite for the DS Trainers. I tried on the new trainers and had to move up from an 11 to a 12 to get a decent fit. There was a lady in the store also purchasing DS trainers and she had to go up a full size also.
Mine seem a little bigger as well. I kinda like it because my foot is wide anyway and I have to play with the laces to get a decent fit. These aren\'t as snug as the other ones.
runs big.
