Having lived in Chicago my entire life, let me point out a few things.
1. We hate it when people call our city "Chi-Town"
2. Remember the old saying/cliche: "If you don't like the weather in ________, wait ten minutes". This is especially true in Chicago. Especially in early Spring and early Fall. One day it could be 90, the next night there could be frost warnings.
3. Weather forecasts more than 3 days in advance are completely wrong about half the time.
Bottom line: Don't start worrying until Thursday :)
Agree with the last poster. I live in Chicago and I'd say this; you can't predict 6 days out what weather will be like this time of year. They may be right. It may be perfect. Heck, it may be HOTTER than they're predicting. Stay positive and don't worry too much about the forecast until closer to the weekend.
The high for Sunday is still 64 F and a low of about 48. That's not too bad for marathoning.
yeah, except, according to wgn.com, the high will be in the morning (and is the same as saturday's overnight low, mid 60s), while the low is in the pm. not so good for marathoning. also, i have two good friends who were born and raised in chitown that call it chitown in jest, as i was, so next time you want to speak for a few million people...don't.
yep.. fiance is from chitown and still calls it chitown. good luck on finding friends.

What neighborhood did she grow up in?
Lived in Chicago for 20 years. Don't recall anyone refering to it as Chitown, other than as a joke.
I live in OC now. No one here calls it "The OC". Funny stuff.
But as the point of this string, I wouldn't worry about the weather, at least not yet.

by "born and raised in chitown" you mean "born and raised in winnetka and naperville."
chitown or not i am worried about the weather too.
The weather changes fast in Chicago. Last year, my wife & I were walking back to the hotel after dinner, and it was in the 60's. The next morning, I ran with a dri-fit long sleeve shirt under my singlet, beacuse I needed it since it was right around 30.
We call it Chicagoland.

What the hell does a Cub game have to do with downtown you idiot?
Relax man, my bad, Wrigley isn't downtown I found out. It's still going to effect the flow of traffic won't it interstates, subs etc.
Was it the cub comment that got you off, or are you just another pissy Chicago resident that's been stuck in traffic all day?

right. because someone who isn't from chicago should obviously know where wrigley is located and is an idiot if they don't. or perhaps the true idiot is the person who thinks everyone should know where wrigley is.

You should stop. Both of your posts show you have no idea of the city or what you are talking about. Have a nice evening.
