Does Cheyenne or Laramie (WY) have a running/track club? I could only find Casper and points further north.

I live in Laramie. There's no current running club of consequence, but there are a number of folks who like to run and a number of nice places to run.
What do you have in mind?

Nothing in particular. WY has interested me lately and just wanted info. I found out Sam Burley was from WY and his training techniques intrigued me (like chasing antilope over open country).
What do you do for a living there? I also hear it's windy there, how do you deal with that? What are your PRs?
thanks
There is one group but it is not a running club. They are based out of Laramie and put on races and occasional runs.
for more information.
Also if you want to do some training there are quite a few runners in Laramie (college and others) as Dan R. said.
Whatever you do, if you get the chance, go east of Laramie and run the various dirt roads which are way up at Veedauwoo in the Wind River reservation right off of I-80 area if you want to see some mind-blowing rocks and scenery. It's at 9000' so get there soon before winter sets in. All of you guys from Wyoming should check it out if you haven't already. Take pics. The place is so amazing it's almost soul-shattering.

Well, like a lot of runners, I still live in my parents' basement. Mostly I run and play Halo 3. (kidding)
Am I to understand that you've not yet made the move to The Equality State?
Like the previous poster noted, there is much prime running to be had in the hills between Laramie and Cheyenne.
The wind is whipping today. Not for the weak, for sure.
My PR's:
14.2/30.2/65.4/2:27.5/4:02/14:40/31:00/52:25/77:48
I had to take a "no height" in my only pole vault attempt.

Dan R.,
I am moving in January to Laramie. Looking forward to upping my mileage and saving my legs at the same time by using some of the dirt roads/paths previous posters have mentioned. Being that it is a small town, I am sure I will run into all of you Laramie runners at some point..be sure to say hello.
This Wyoming running blog http://halfmarathonswyoming.blogspot.com/ lists a running club in Laramie called the High Plains Harriers.
