Reasons for Sitting Out a Meet (College Guys)

How could you turn in a uniform late? If you forgot it, you apologize profusely, then run, ride, or drive to get it and return. Do this after practice if necessary. A very strict rule indeed, but it is YOUR responsibility if it is a rule. You can always quit. My point, don't complain about the rules, be first class and efficient in EVERYTHING you do. Don't settle for less.

usually just an injury. Unless you do something really really bad.

I tried that once 'cause I was still drunk from the party the night before, coach said if I didn't run, I had to run home. God that was a long run home ;'>

i agree with this. the whole reason that you are on the team is to race, right? if you dont want to race, get your sorry ass off of the team and let somebody else onto it. like me!

I went an entire xc season without washing, let alone turning in my uniform. There is still blood stains on it from an unfortunate spill.
