I usually wear size 8.5 in the Brooks Glycerin and Burn. I have the opportunity to buy a pair of the T5 racer's at a really good price but they only have size 8 available. I'm looking to wear these shoes for a fall marathon so I want to have some time to break them in. I'm not going to have the opportunity to try these on prior to purchasing so I'd like to see if anyone can give me some insight into the sizing of these shoes.

Nah, it's fitting quite snugly, so if you wear an 8.5 in the Glycerin and Burn, I'm afraid an 8 may be too short. It is running a tad bit small, but I wear a 10 in the Axiom and a 10 in the T5. Great racing flat, by the way...
I don't wear any Brooks trainers, so I can't compare within brand, but I have raced in the T4 and T5. I bump a half size up in both over all other shoes that I wear. They definitely run small.

T5 definatly run small, half size to full size. Here is what I wear in flats...
Hyperspeed 10.5
T5 11.5
Adizero 11
Streak XC 11
T5 is definitely a half size small. Also, it kind of sucks compared to the t4. Anybody else have a lot of problems with the new seam cutting across the top of the toes? First time I ran in them the last three toes on both feet were bloody. Find an old pair of t4's.
Those seams are terrible, it is a pity, I think teh sole is better on the T% is better but the upper is awful.
