I've seen a lot of people wear track spikes on this 8k cross course. It seems like there's too much gravel to do that, but I was wondering if anyone else has had much experience on the Lincoln Park course. I'm trying to decide between flats, XC spikes, or track spikes -- and also whether to use blanks or spikes if I use spikes.
What are ya'll going to wear? Does anyone know what the successful runners on this course have worn in the past?
