what's a fair estimate after a 3xmile workout in 5:00, 5:03, 5:08 with 5 minutes rest? i also did 8x400 a few weeks ago in 69-71 for the first 7 and ran 66 for the last one.

28 minute range.
id say 27 minute high range...5 minutes rest is way too much recovery for mile repeats for 8k training, 3 minutes and working towards 2:30 or 2 minutes is more ideal preparation...
Seriously, anywhere from 26:30-28 minutes. Without more info that is all I can tell you.
i think your gona run 30minutes and fold like a deck of cards
You will run 29:58.69
ive been running about 50 mpw for six weeks or so with long runs of 9-11 miles on sundays and a few 400m workouts. 8x400 in 66-70, 200m jog
3xmile in right around 5:000, with 5:00 rest. hhmmmm....
if you really push...........i mean really push...........there is no reason why you shouldn't be able...........................(make sure you breathe too, keep a good rhythm)........... you should be able to give birth with maybe only 10 hours in labor...
then, after giving birth to an extremely obese baby......i really think you could run 23:36.
this is assuming that you've been properly training your anaerobic V02max threshold workout plan.
just be sure to not move your arms at all and heel strike, and only breathe at about 40 repetitions per minute.
just stay calm and you should be fine. I knew a guy one time 3 hours ago and he ran 2xMile at 5:30 and then he ran a 24:37 8k, and i think you are in better shape then him.
live long and prosper
hey thanks
that's not a very good workout for 8k
try 5 x mile with 60 sec rest
I ran 25:47 for 5 miles not all out effort from similar workouts and mileage.
