This isn't a popular race, but I ended up liking it last year during HS indoor, so I would really like to focus-train for this indoor season. I was just looking for some advice/tips on how to train well for the 1000m race (and maybe other things besides running workouts, like certain plyos or whatever).
I'm also looking for what to do during cross country season, not just during indoor. Such as, are there certain small anaerobic sessions that would work well for me after XC practices? That kind of stuff.. thanks.
