It's been out for awhile - any feedback from regular wearers? pros, cons?
I love this shoe. Ran a trail 50K in it and set a course record. BUT the sole is pretty soft and only good for about 100 miles if that. By then my heels were turning in and I had to pitch them. I bought a second pair but will probably save them for 5 or 10Ks.
i use these for all of my training runs, average of 38 miles a day broken into 2 sessions. since i started using them my form has become perfect and i can do fartleks with pickup portions at 2:55 mile pace. i got about 2,500 miles from the first pair, but i felt like i still didn't get my money's worth. i'm going for 3,000 miles on this next pair. never ever EVER use shoes with "cushioning" as it ruins your form and causes injuries.
i have them, and got them for free, cuz asics reps are awesome! but sadly i have not yet raced in them. but i will in a few short weeks and i am very much looking foward to that. basically i offer no help. feel great on my feet though.
