please post it here if you know
-everyone important except Heshko made it
-Daniel Komen was the slowest and luckiest qualifier
-Mansoor was not particularly sharp, either
-Webb, Baala, Ramzi all looking strong
How did willis look, do you think he is holding back being smart?
how do they make up the heats for the semis? totally random draw, every other qualifying time? If a country has more than one participant will they seperate them? thanks for any info.

He lead most of the race, but got blown away at the end. Maybe that was his plan, but finishing 7th when 6 automatically qualify never seems like a smart idea.
Here's the start lists for the semis, in case you're still wondering.
Looks like Lagat got the tougher semi - if there even is such a thing. Webb has the advantage of seeing how the first semi goes, I guess. Hope they both make it through.
Leonel Manzano flopped big time. Lukezic would have done better than this.
What do you want from the guy? Jeesh...
What is the point of running 3:35 in the trials and then running 3:45 at the WCs.
He should have resigned his position to Lukezic.

just in case you aren't joking... this has got to be the most asinine, retarded, and ignorant posting i have ever read...
manzano beat Lukezic solidly... a matter of fact, he beat Lagat as well... so who cares what Lukezic should have done, could have done, or would have done... what he didn't do was qualify for the team...

Are you new here?
Well played.
; )
Dumb 3rd heat they knew 3.41 would be enough and yet only I qualified.
My prediction for Semis:
Heat 1
1 Baala 3.37.25
2 Moustaoui 3.37.58
3 Lagat 3.37.62
4 Higuero 3.38.04
5 Baddeley 3.38.28
FL
6 Boukensa 3.38.54
7 Kiprop 3.39.01
8 Baba 3.39.36
Heat 2
1 Webb 3.38.70
2 Ali Belal 3.38.95
3 Korir 3.39.11
4 Ramzi 3.39.24
5 Casado 3.39.56
manzano is a college senior, and he has an xc season coming up, what do you expect from him? he's done great things for his young age, and he's got a lot more coming. give him time guys. I was very surprised that barrios was running from Mexico, I always thought he was more of a 5k kinda guy.
Are any videos of the 1500 heats?
i couldn't find the 1500 heats on wcsn. they showed the heptathlon 1500. and i tried to forward rewind through that section. did i just miss it or was it not included in the archive.
Let a bother know.
