Do you do at least 1-2 track workouts a week year 'round?
none until november, then 2-3 per week through the end of the season
Every one.
I do almost all of my workouts in spikes, 1-3 times per week, year round. Where I'm training and what kind of workout I'm doing determine whether I wear spikes or flats. I'm primarily a sprinter and when track season is over, I train for road mile races, so the longest interval I do is an 800.
none, I wear flats and still bust out 55s
Put in 2 track rep sessions per week and always wear distance spikes as they help me reach speed and psychologically make one feel they are a sprinter and therefore go faster! Mind imagery - the new training/coaching aid!
Thank you all very much.
Only in season. 800-3000m type workouts in spikes, anything longer in flats.
