I was diagnosed with anemia around the first of July. I cut back my mileage and started taking iron suplements (ferrous sulfate elixir). It's now been about 6 weeks and i'm able to run about 85% of my normal mileage, but when i try to do tempo/fartlek sessions my legs start to burn again and i can feel the lack of oxygen in my body. I have about 10 weeks to get well before my conference meet, and i was wondering if it's possible to get back into peak shape by then?
