Just saw on the news (here in Australia) that Buster is injured. They showed him pulling out of a rep during a session in London. Reported has a hamstring injury....wan't moving that fast before he pulled up, but you could tell by the look on his face that he was not too happy. I'm sure there will be a story in tomorrows paper (it's 10:30pm here now). Watch this space.

Just watched the video of it on athletics australia website. Doesnt seem too bad but not what you want leading up to the world champs. Hopefully he'll be 100% fit on the start line in osaka. Go Mottram!!

Will make no difference, a bit of an enforced rest before the champs may even help him, who knows?!

Weldon, if you call some guys watching TV in Australia your "spies" then I guess that your father's former roommate would've hired them on at the CIA! hahahahahaha USELESS.
I am in Hokkaido and I'll be spying on the German team IN PERSON tomorrow. They are due to arrive at the hotel tonight for their pre-Osaka camp.
I have to get out and use the track tonight because they've told us that the track is off-limits (for runners, not spectators) starting tomorrow morning. -
Can someone put a link to the video up plz

For a 5k guys this is usually not a big deal; I did not read the article, but I would guess it most likely happed during intervals or sprinting at the end of a run. Sometimes this is a sign that you are where you need to be and it is time to back off a bit. This could be a blessing in disguise because this is were a lot of guys get themselves into trouble by not listening to their bodies and trying reach that ultimate fitness level. His WC race is less than 2 weeks out, he needs to be careful with sprinting, certain the drills or anything requiring high knee lift action and beef up and the stretching and massages.

My vote for post of the week!
Also probably needs to take a look at some added doses of Zinc, Calcium, Magnesium, etc.
