It seems like everyone on here has run under 15:00 for 5k, but I'd like to see what the average is for letsrun posters. So everyone, please post your 5k PR, no matter how old it is, and I will calculate the average. If you don't feel like posting it, you can email it to me. Please everyone, do this, cause it doesn't really work if not everyone take part. I'll start.

Frankly it seems like very few people here claim to run under 15:00 for 5k. The number just seems to get blown up by the imagination of those who post here. Very, very few actually make this claim and half of those who do are not believed anyway.
As for me:
5k PR 15:59.
(This is from 1987 in Inidiana and I seriously the course was certified. I did run a legit 16:16 this year though so maybe that's a better one to use)
