What sort of vitamins/pills do you take in the morning before a race? I want to get some feedback on here, and potentially boost my performance on some good recommendations. I typically do not worry about taking anything "extra" in the morning of a race-day, but I'm always willing to try something new.

While this saturday morning road race will not be hosting a drug testing facility, I'm sure I could get away with EPO. But I'm not interested in that, sorry.
I take a product called CardioFX and coffee. There are specific pills that are similar specifically for racing that contain the Bs, herbs, and caffine.
If you haven't trained using these things, I would not take it now. Of course, if you did some runs between now and Sat. hopped up on the stuff, that might be OK.
If you want to boost performance by taking a pill, it doesn't matter if it is illegal (i.e. EPO) or if its not, morally it is the same thing. You are no different from any drug cheat. It is your mindset that is ruining athletics.
Xtreme Shock. Along with your favorite energy drink. No more than an hour before the race.
Forget about vitamins and supplements this close to the race. Vitamins and supps are good, but they take ages to build up their cumulative effect.
