I'm not elite. I will still finish in the top 10-50 of most big races depending on the size. I'm sure this is true of most people here.
Why don't more races have a program like Chicago's top 100? I find that it's huge problem for me to wait in bathroom lines for half an hour, or have to line up thirty minutes before the start of the race to get a good spot, all killing my ability to get a decent warm-up in.
I don't want a comped entry. I don't want hotel room or travel costs. All I want is a cordoned-off bathroom area for 50-100 sub-elites and the ability to line up at a front corral 5 minutes before the start. It's simple, it's probably not that expensive, and it would help a lot of people have a good race.
