what a nobel idea on friday.

This whole season it seems he's been racing only 200s. Yes, the 400 is his event.

He's going to get a Nobel Prize?!?!?!?! Wait, those are given in Stockholm. That race isn't until July 7th.
maybe he meant to say that wariner running the 400 would be more honorable and righteous then all those uncouth 200s and spelled it wrong? ah missed keystrokes will they never cease to amuse me hehe

Agreed. His last 400 was in May, and he has run only two of them since last September. I understand doing off-distance races for training, but he has certainly taken it to the extreme.
this thread is obviously a lie. Jeremy Wariner isn't a 400m runner, he's a 200m runner. I know I've seen him in many 200m races this year. Why on earth would he run a 400? That'd be ridiculous when he should be trying harder to improve his 200m time and get close to being considered the best in the world. I wish he would stop stepping outside of his distance and trying to run 400's every now and again....
wait.
We'll what happens in Osaka, but why would you second guess his coach? Seems to me that he's proven himself in adapting his coaching to meet his athlete's needs. So, he must think that if Jeremy can improve his 200m time, then that will help his 400m time. A WR in Osaka would be the proof, but then I'm sure all the haters here on LR would still find something to complain about.

So he finally dropped down from the 800???
no no, he's dropping up.

Do you mean novel or noble or Nobel?
I bet he runs 43.69.
Winning margin: .73
I think Jeremy Wariner will win in Osaka, because, well....he's Jeremy Wariner. But I kinda doubt he'll run any jaw-dropping times this season. He hasn't run many 400's and his 200m times haven't been very impressive. They may have helped him fine tune his speed, but that last half of the race might take some readjustment after some time away.
With that said, it's probably all part of a bigger plan to run some ridiculous times in '08 and be unchallenged in Bejing. Even if Wariner doesn't blow our minds this year, he will next year.
hahahaha
Yeah, he only ran 44.02 (WL) in his second race of the year...things are going really bad. He'll win world champs and then run 43 low just after it...much along the lines as MJ did back in the day, run only a couple of 400's early season, run more 200's then bang WR when it counts!
Sadly, I think he meant "novel" and just failed to even get close
Actually v and b are a lot closer onthe keyboard than inthe alphabet.
The one time I thought it was odd that Wariner didn't run the 400 was at Nationals. With all the hand wringing about how Suzy was screwed out of those precious National titles and how important they were for sponsorship money and appearance fees, why would he take an almost certain loss in the 200 over an almost certain victory (with all the afore mentioned benefits) in the 400? I hope it all pays off for him though, best of luck dude.

Everyone knows Osaka is short.

Amazingly, it will only affect JW though.
