He will medal in either one. Basically, what would he cherish more? I'm guessing the 1500m. Will he double like EPO did last time?

You're guessing or jokin? Of course he has a better shot at not only medaling, but winning the 15.
sorry to rain on your parade but 1:43.8 probably wont medal him at worlds. There are many people that can run 1:43 and 1:42. I say run the 1500m

Unless I'm mistaken, no one has run under 1:43.00 in nearly 5 years. What the hell are you talking about?
I think only one person has run under 1:44 this year. Other than Webb.
Did he run the 800 at USATF? If not then he can't compete at worlds in that event. He missed out on one of the necessary criteria for being selected for that particular event.
He did not run the 800 at US Trials so he can not run it at WC!!!

Why stop there? Why not go for the 800/1500/5000 triple?
How about next years Olympics?
yeah, the guy that ran under 1:44 is pretty slow in the 15, I doubt he would break 3:40 now.
the KSA guy has been around for awhile, but never steps it up in the big races. Webb could probably win both the 15 and 8 in the Olympics if he wanted to.
The 15 is in the bag though, very hard once that kind of speed and strength is demonstrated for a runner to be beaten.
Kaouch will still be there, but Webb can handle him. Baala is still a threat, but Baala seeing Webb run 1:43 is now likely realing and giving up on 1st place.
Webb has Osaka down, he can't get much better and its his to lose.
There isn't enough time either from now to Beijing for a Kenyan to come out of the woodwork and threaten a 3:27 except maybe D. Komen Kip. and even then he would not have 1:43 speed. Only threats to Webb in Beijing are Ramzi if he's still where he has been and maybe Kaouch and Baala but both are aging. Lagat is aging. The kenyans have no more Ngeny's or Kieno's popping out (they ususally take a year or two to develop). Osaka and Beijing are both Webb's now, if he loses either thats a dissapointment because he is now the best and will be for at least 2 years.
i can guarantee you baala is not giving up hope for first place after this race
anyone have a video of it? is it up on flocasts yet?
I guess we already know what Baala does when he loses hope!
