A bunch of white guys would own them all without the corruption of the drug addicts!
The women's records are where you'd see the fallback. I know one elite athlete refered to women's world records 100m and up and the, "Bullshit List."
I imagine the only "clean" female track WR is O'Sullivan's 2,000m. But I would not be suprised to see Adere, Kidane, Radcliffe reset the 5,000m and (maybe) 10,000m WRs.
3:49 JOHN WALKER (YES COE HAD EPO)
13:07 HENRY RONO (HENRY USED NOTHING STRONGER THAN BABE RUTH DID . BEER. AT LEAST THEY WEREN'T DRUGGIES.)
27:22 (ATTAINABLE BY SEVERAL AMERICANS FROM THE DAYS OF SHORTER TO CULPEPPER. BUT 26:22?! PLEASE PASS THE EPO!)
2:08...(KHALID IS DIRTY AT 2:05)
epo wasn't hadn't even been developed by Coe's time, you dumbass

WRONG. VIREN HAD IT TOO. AND OVETT.
came out in 1992...now there is a natural concentration of erythropoieten in the body to begin with. But as for the drug that was created to bolster the concentrations did not come out on the market until 1992. What you are thinking of is simple blood doping, that being taking blood out and then pumping it back in close to race time to increace the amount of blood volume, and red blood cell count in the body.
Everyone that has ever held a world record is guilty of using performance enhancing drugs, in all of your little minds. If it makes all of you morons happy, just assume that you are the only clean athletes to ever lace on a pair of spikes, and thus you are the world record holder.
I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that I would never hold the WR in the marathon, or any other distance for that matter (unless the IAAF decided to offer handicaps based on body weight). It's obvious that none of you have accepted the fact that the following is why you'll never amount to a hill of beans:
1. You don't train hard enough.
2. You don't have the legs, lungs, heart, head of a champion.
3. You spend entirely too much time on this stupid message board arguing about running, instead of actually training.
4. You're not committed!!!
Let's try something totally absurd here: Let's assume that everyone who is busting their ass every day to become the best in the world, and they continually prove this by competing against the best in the world, and they come out on top (Khalid, Geb, El G., Salazar, Shorter, Viren, Tergat, Radcliffe, etc.); let's just assume that they are legit because they work harder than you do!
Now, all of you can get back to your miserable lives, run 60-70 miles a week @ 7:00 pace, run your 16:00 5k's, screw your 18 year old girlfriend every night, and think of what you could have been.
Happy Running,
ENOS
youre there Paulie, Im wif ya - but it was blood doping wasnt it? Taking out blood days before, leeting the bodies levels normal out and then sticking it back in on the day of the race.
hold on with Ovett - there is one cat who was just a phenom - nothing freaky there...
Again, I must lay claim to the true world record for 5,000 meters. I ran 18:14---CLEAN--at Paramus, NJ, in July of 1988. That is the last totally clean record at 5K. All who came after me were dirty, even if they tested clean...their federations are covering up. 18:14....any takers?
Damn! I ran 19:02 back in 1969... I thought I was the legit WR holder!!
I take it all back and fully acknowledge that I am a useless dumbshit. Haile Gebreselassie is the greatest runner ever and totally clean. Real records are 12:39 and 26:22.
Paulie, you're right about the dumbshit part, the jury is still out on Haile.
Hey I would be happy if I was screwing my 18 year old girlfriend! Unfortunately once you are in your late 20's that is no longer acceptable.
viren didn't take epo dumbass, he blood doped. hicham is clean.
