Hey thanks a lot for all this but I just have one quick question for clarification. These hill sessions (starting at 15 minutes) are to be done 6 times a week? And also what part of training should they be encourporated into?

Hey, we needed $$$ to move forward! We'll get there. Say, I might be able to come your direction in September. I'll keep you posted... How's your family?
We're all fine, Nobby, thanks! We're having a typhoon blowing trhough, but I still managed 18 K yesterday and will run again today.
Let me know if you'll be here in September and hopefully we can hook up.

If you have to start with 15-minutes hill exercise a day, I would not recommend doing it 6 times a week. First of all, that would cut down your overall distance to maintain good aerobic condition unless you warm-up and cool-down half an hour or more each plus some morning jog.
Schedule must be tailored toward your previous training background, current status of development, strengths and weaknesses--NEVER follow any schedule or someone's advice blindly.
If you're doing this hill training as a transition, then you need to maintain good aerobic base so you need to have at least one good long run, besides weekend long run, of about 90 minutes or so, preferably twice; unless, like I said, you're doing the total running on the hill training day of about 1:30 or so. If you're already sharpening phase, in which case, these hill exercises CAN serve as a great sharpening tool, then you should be doing more race specific workouts like time trials or repeats, etc.
