problem corrected with a plug-in, but hard to find that was needed--in fact, it took just long enough to miss the first heat of the 1500m.

you can watch it on tvAnts or SopCast for free. Most of the channels are asian. I think Eurosport is picking it up they're listed.

Only problem is, a lot of the channels broadcast in Chinese. Still beats Carol Lewis, though.
Probably a lot more intelligible than Carol, nonetheless.
I had a lot of freezing and dropped feeds tonight on WCSN. The quality was pretty terrible during the steeple races as well... horribly over exposed.
Am I alone in this? Am I missing a plugin?
I didn't see Eurosport listed on SopCast. Am I missing something? Otherwise which channels did you find were covering it?
thanks.
If anybody else is interested, it seems like CCTV-5 is covering it.
the wcsn commentators are actually pretty clueless. for instance, they babbled on after dkk's heat that all the favorites had moved on, failing to recognize that he was seventh and in the end they were extremely surprised when they saw that he just made it on time. the 100m commentator made tons of mistakes, for example not seeing that jelks had pulled up, calling him as near the lead instead.
Also covered on the BBC website http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport/
Funny, because when I watched London on WCSN I was actually very impressed by the commentators (two UK guys). Do they have someone different now?
