Ritz ran okay, Teg ran poorly, IMO. As others have said . . . one race . . . no big deal. But certainly not inspiring. A long way to travel to run 13:27. At least no one will accuse them of peaking too early!
yusuf jamal hangs on 403

I guess you don't get it, then.
Isn't Micah Kogo a 26:35 10k guy (absurdly fast)? Not so sure either Ritz or Teg ran all that badly when placed into the context of their competition.

You mean Tyson, or Ritz?
Webb and Lagat are still the Kings of US distance running. Ok, Robinson can be thrown in there to. These three have a 90% chance of making the finals. Of the three at least one of them should be in medal range.
The Steeple chase has been a disappointment. The best US runners may not be at the WCs.
As of now the 1500 and 800 are the best US distance events.
The chance of the US getting a medal at World Championships in either the 1500 or 800 are about 50%. Do you really think Lagat is not going to get faster. When Lagat gets faster so does Webb. I is funny but the last race it seemed as if Webb and Lagat switched places.

So ritz goes through 4600 in 12:14 and KICKS to a 13:23? What is that? 69 for the last 400m? That is embarrassing!
Jesus, people are so quick to bash. This is his training. It's good that he went through that fast in a race that obviously wasn't a burner. Yes he died, but he will certainly feel better in the 10K if he can get used to this faster pace.
We all know that these guys are faster than this in the right race, AND at the right time. Who can say what preperation these guys had coming in. If they are focussed on worlds they may not be real sharp here.
Bottom line is, let them do the worrying and racing, and us to do the observing. The whole summer is dedicated to a world champs performance, so that will be the only thing to judge them at.
If they f' up there, theeeen jump and down on your bunk bed and scream about how they didn't race like you do in your visualizations, and how you know you could if you were just given their talent level and were just paid to run! Hehe.
Men's 400 hurdles up next. Looks pretty stacked.
I don't think Shizzy will be competing with Teg anytime soon.
Tyson gay in his interview, he kept looking around suspiciously
I meant "IT" not "I" is funny, but last race it was if Webb and Lagat switched places.

Yes he is. However, he seems more like a longer distance guy. Would like to see how he does in the 12k in XC or in a half-marathon, especially against someone like Wanjiru or Tadesse.
Kogo's 5000 best is *only* 13:00.77.
I think he just didn't know what to do while they were babbling in french. I would feel a little awkward too.
Who won it? Close.

You've got to be kidding. Robinson ran terrible today.
HAHA a fan tried to take james carter's sunglasses and he wa slike "no way"
Yeah but in Shizzy's mind he is prob a stud, he wouldn't race for time against Teg, he would just "race" him haha what a troll
I don't know, but Sandra Glover is older than dirt. Still running strong (semi-strong?) on the circuit. Hat's off to her.
