Unless I read wrong it looks as if Hasay declared in the 1500 and not the 5K. I know on paper it looks as if she has the faster 1500 conversion time with that 4:39.13 but I don't think she will just walk away from the other runners. Tauro has not run as fast this year but she ran a 2:07 split on the SMR so I think she's more than ready. Jessica Pixler is strong and fast and she will more than likely sit back and finish with some wicked kick. I have no idea what Nichole Jones will run but the fact she can go 2:04 in the 800 has to mean something. Jones also ran that 4:20.94 way back in March at the Stanford Meet. I can't say for sure but I'm assuming she should be a little stronger by now.
It just looks like Hasay could have cake walked the 5K. What do I know...Hasay could be ready to go 4:35 1600 by now. One thing nice about it is the race will not be slow at the start with Jordan Hasay running.
